One of Canada’s natural wonders. The Bluffs stretch 15 km along Toronto’s eastern waterfront and rise 90 meters above Lake Ontario. The Bluffs were formed over 12,000 years ago from the accumulation of sediment. Today, despite challenges of erosion, they remain home to many rare species of fish, birds and other wildlife who seek refuge from the city. There are nine parks along the Bluffs, including Bluffer’s Park, home to Toronto’s floating homes.
